Minesweeper ("the game") is made by Itiel Maimon ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the game uses and why. Contact: [email protected]
Your Journey progress and stars, Daily Board results and streak, statistics and achievements, coins and hints, themes, the game you are playing, and your settings (sound, vibration, controls, reminders, language) are saved locally on your device using standard app storage. We do not receive this data. If you uninstall the game, it is deleted (unless your phone's backup feature restores it).
If you turn on the daily reminder, the game schedules a notification on your device. Nothing is sent to us or to a server to do this, and you can turn it off in the game's Settings or in your phone's settings.
The game shows ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), which may show ads from Google's advertising partners. To show and measure ads, these services may collect or use:
Where required (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, and some US states), we ask for your choice with Google's User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice in Settings under Privacy and consent. On iOS you can also decline tracking in the system prompt or in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
Google's privacy information: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your payment details. The game checks with the store which purchases you own (for example Remove Ads or Premium) so that it can unlock them and restore them on request.
We use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Remote Config (Google) to understand how the game is used, to fix crashes and to tune game settings. This may include app interactions (for example, which modes are played and whether a game was won), device model, OS version, crash logs, and an app-instance identifier. This data is not linked to your name or email.
Minesweeper is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will help.
We do not run our own servers that store personal data about you. Data processed by advertising, analytics and store providers is kept according to their own policies. We share nothing with anyone else except as needed to provide these services, to comply with law, or to protect our rights.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no account data, most of this happens on your device and through the settings above.
Our service providers (such as Google) may process data in countries other than yours. They do so under their own safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the game or in the store listing.
